About Farasa

Farasa is a freelance marketplace built for Iraq — a single place where clients can post work and freelancers can find it, without routing through platforms built for other markets.
One account works both ways: hire for a project, or take on work yourself, whichever the day calls for. Payments settle in the ways that actually work here — PayPal, Tether (USDT), and Zain Cash — so getting paid isn't the hard part.
Farasa is available in Arabic and English, with more languages on the way.
For clients: describe what you need — a website, a logo, a translation, a marketing plan — set a budget, and receive proposals from freelancers. Compare their profiles and offers, then choose the person who fits.
For freelancers: browse open jobs, send proposals and build a track record. Every new account starts with 100 free credits and each proposal uses 2, so you can send up to 50 proposals before paying anything.
Farasa is a young platform and we are building it with the people who use it. If something is missing or unclear, tell us on the contact page.
